Ezeo for Shopify

Set up Ezeo for Shopify

Step by step: the free storefront audit, the Ezeo Pro plan billed by Shopify, optional permissions, automatic setup and content you review.

  1. Install and authenticate

Install from a Shopify-owned surface, approve read_themes, and return directly to the embedded app home. Only the store owner, or a staff member the owner allowed to manage and install apps, can approve. If that is not you, send the message below to your store owner first.

  2. Run the free audit

Choose Run free audit on Home. Ezeo checks rendered storefront pages and uses theme source only as a fallback for protected or unreachable stores.

  3. Choose Ezeo Pro when needed

Open Plans and use Shopify-hosted pricing to start the 7-day Ezeo Pro trial, monthly or annual. The free audit remains available without Ezeo Pro.

  4. Connect optional permissions

Open Settings › Ezeo connection and approve read_products, write_content, and write_products. Nothing is shared before this merchant action. The same people can approve: the store owner, or staff allowed to manage and install apps.

  5. Finish the automatic workspace setup

Ezeo creates or reuses the store workspace automatically. Open Settings › Data connections to add Search Console, GA4, and Clarity when available.

  6. Follow the next action and create content

Home shows the next action, which refreshes as your data syncs, and Content › Content Studio writes product-aware articles. Review every article before choosing draft, schedule, or publish.

  7. Apply verified catalog SEO edits

Open SEO › Products & collections, review and confirm a title or description change, then choose Apply and verify. Every edit is recorded and can be rolled back; this is the only thing write_products is used for.

  8. Disconnect whenever needed

Return to Settings › Ezeo connection and choose Disconnect to revoke optional scopes and stop future synchronization.

Not the store owner? Send this to them

Shopify only lets the store owner, or a staff member with permission to manage and install apps, approve a new app, and staff can only approve permissions they hold themselves. Copy this message and send it to the right person.

The Ezeo app is in Shopify review and opens in the Shopify App Store after Shopify approves it. Keep this message for then.
