How the connector works and how to add it

Cost and confirmation

Each article uses one unit of the project's content allowance, the same as the dashboard button and "ezeo articles request". The tool always takes two calls.

Call 1
Without a confirmation code it spends nothing. It returns a preview, the allowance left and an 8-character code, or refuses when automation is off or you cannot see the project configuration.

Read the preview and the allowance left, then say yes. Nothing is spent until you do.
Call 2
With the code it starts the runs and reports what started, what was already running this week and what was skipped.

The code stops an assistant from spending in a single step, from using a preview older than about 20 minutes, or from changing the count after you agreed. The assistant is told to show you the preview and wait for an explicit yes. Who may spend and whether allowance remains are decided by the database, not by the code.

Ready-made prompts

The connector also lists five prompts. Agents that show MCP prompts, such as Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code Copilot, offer them as slash commands. Each is only a message that names the tools to call; nothing a prompt does bypasses a tool's own rules.

The same tools are also served over plain HTTP, with an OpenAPI 3.1 description at https://ezeo.ai/mcp/openapi.json, for builders that only accept HTTP actions such as custom GPTs. Each GPT needs an Ezeo admin to register a sign-in client for it.

ezeo_job collects the result of a call that was still running after about 45 seconds. Do not call a paid tool again while it runs: it may already have been billed.

A paid tool never runs on its first call. It returns a dry run, the cost class and a confirm token, and runs only when called again with the same input and that token. The token covers that input only and lasts as long as the server process.
